Option 1:
DAY ONE
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, transfer to your Hotel. Depending on time bird around Entebbe
DAY TWO
Drive to Murchison Falls National park birding enroute for the White-crested Turaco, lunch in Masindi then continue to the park and drive to the top of the Falls for Pel’s fishing Owl, Rock Pranticoles, Bat Hawk and a variety of Night Jars, Herons, Vultures, Darters, Cormorants, Ducks and Banded Snake Eagle.
DAY THREE AND FOUR
Morning cross with a ferry for a game drive to the Delta for the Shoebill stork, Lesser Flamingo, Herons, Kingfishers, Storks, Ibises, Egrets, Stilts, Geese, Great Snipe and other water birds, animals like the Lion, Leopards, Giraffes, Oribis, Hartebeests, Elephants, to mention but a few afternoon boat ride to the bottom of the Falls where we shall see a variety water birds, schools of Hippos, Crocodiles and the magnificent falls at a close range.
The birding experience here is greatly enhanced by the abundant wildlife and scenic landscape.
DAY FIVE
Early morning drive to Budongo via Kaniyo pabidi birding for Puvell’s Illadopsis, Yellow-footed Flycatcher, Piping Hornbill, Red-sided Broadbill, Spotted Greenbul, Cassin's Spinetail, Lemon-bellied Crombec, Ituri Batis and Black-eared Ground Thrush and other rare species like Green-breasted Pitta, and Red-fronted Antpecker.
DAY SIX
Bird the Royal mile for Cassin’s Hawk Eagle, Nahan’s Francolin, Chocolate-backed and Dwarf Kingfishers, Brown-backed Scrub Robin afternoon visit Busingiro.Bird the escarpment for Foxy Cisticola, Cliff charts afternoon bird the main road and the pond for the Shining Blue King fisher.
DAY SEVEN
After breakfast drive to Kibaale Forest birding site for the rare species like the Bar-tailed Trogon, and Fine-banded Woodpecker, White-bellied Crested Flycatcher, Crowned crane, African Grey parrot, Speckled Mouse bird, Ross’s Turaco, Woodland Kingfisher, Barbets, African Boardbill,Harrier Hawk, Robin Chats, Waxbills, Starling, Weavers, Red-faced Crimson-wing and Nahan’s Francolin an endangered species.
DAY EIGHT
Morning chimp tracking and birding Kibaale Forest for the African and Green-breasted Pittas, Pitta, the African Pitta, White-thighed Hornbill, the Black bee-eater, Sunbirds, Yellow Vented Bulbul, Fish eagle, Cuckoos and Coucals and a variety of forest species afternoon swamp walk for papyrus endemics.
DAY NINE
Drive back to Entebbe for your flight.
