Apes safari.

Day1:
Arrive at Entebbe, to be met by our driver / guide and transfer to any hotel in Entebbe.
Later after lunch, transfer to the Lake Victoria Shore for a speed boat to Izinga Island for a visit to the Jane Goodall Ngamba Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Return to the hotel for Dinner and overnight.

Day2:
Morning breakfast, then take a 5 - 6 hour road transfer on a very good road to the edge of the Maramagambo Forest. After lunch at the Jacana safari Camp, take an afternoon forest walk in search of the primates among them Chimpanzees. Dinner and overnight at the Jacana Safari Camp.

Day3:
Breakfast early then transfer into the Kyambura Gorge for a morning walk to trek the Chimpanzees and other primates. After lunch, in Fort portal travel to Kibale Forest for an evening walk along the forest edges.

Day4:
Travel to the Kibale forest after an early breakfast for a morning chimp trek in this forest known to hold over 10 primate species. In the evening, we take a nocturnal forest walk in the forest to spot the Bush babies, Galagos and potos.

Day5:
Early departure for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with picnic lunch. Arrive early evening for a forest walk along the River Munyaga before dinner and overnight at the Gorilla Forest Camp.

Day6:
After breakfast, report at the park offices for a briefing by the ranger guides prior to the trek to find the Mountain Gorillas with picnic lunch. The gorillas are tracked, located and after approximately one hour with them, return to base for a shower and cold drink. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp.

Day7:
Travel to Kisoro after breakfast through beautiful mountain scenery. After lunch take a boat launch cruise on Lake Mutanda before dinner and overnight at Mgahinga Safari Lodge.

Day8:
Breakfast early then transfer to the Virunga volcanoes for another trek of the Dian Fossey Mountain gorillas. There after if time allows, visit the Karisoke Rearch Centre where Dian Fossey spent 20 years studying mountain gorillas. Return to Mgahinga Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight at Mgahinga Safari Lodge

Day9:
After breakfast, transfer to Mbarara for lunch at the Lakeview Hotel. Later travel to Kampala arriving late evening for farewell dinner and overnight at the Kampala Sheraton Hotel.

Day10:
After morning breakfast and shopping in Kampala, transfer to the airport for departure flight.
