14 DAYS ITINERARY



DAY 1 - Arrival

Arrive at Entebbe Airport, met by our company representative, and transferred to Hotel Africana in Kampala for overnight and Dinner.

DAY 2 - Murchison falls

Morning pick up from your overnight accommodation in Kampala start 4-5 hour drive to Murchison Falls National Park lunch at Masindi Hotel. Transfer to the magnificent falls where you will marvel at the mighty Nile. Dinner and overnight at Paara Safari Lodge.

DAY 3 - Murchison falls

After an early morning breakfast, embark on a half-day game drive on the northern banks of the River Nile escorted by a game ranger. You may opt for a game walk while trailing animals and studying animal's spoors.
Animals in this area include; Giraffe, Elephant, Hartebeests, Lion, Uganda kob, Oribi and a variety of Savannah and woodland birds. After lunch, take a Nile cruise for game viewing at close quarters; this is a paradise of the Hippos and Crocodiles.
Dinner and overnight at Paara Safari Lodge.

Day 4 – Murchison- Fort Portal


Have early breakfast then transfer to Budongo forest for a Primate walk in search of primates. On the walk you may see Black and White colobus Monkey, Red tailed Monkey, Baboon, and Grey cheeked Mangabay's or the Chimpanzees. Lunch enroute, as we transfer to Fort Portal. Visit the hot springs in Bwamba forest and the pygmies. Overnight and dinner at Rwenzori view guesthouse.

Day 5 - Kibale forest national park

Have early breakfast, then start your Chimp trekking expedition together with forest ranger guides, you will search for Chimpanzees, Black and White Colobus monkey, and Grey cheeked Mangabay's. Have lunch and visit Bigodi Sanctuary for birds and many species in the afternoon, enjoy traditional dances in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Rwenzori View Guesthouse.

Day 6 - Queen Elizabeth national park


Morning visit to the crater lakes region as we transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with picnic lunch. Arrive at Queen Elizabeth for an afternoon boat launch in Kazinga channel, a place believed to host the largest concentration of hippos in Africa. We may see buffalos, many water birds, and wild animal over land and also herds of different animals that come to drink water by the stream. Dinner and Overnight at Jacana Safari Lodge

Day 7 - Queen Elizabeth

After breakfast, we hike into the gorge of the Kyambura River for another but different experience with the Chimps. It's a rewarding experience not only to see the Chimpanzees but also to see the beautiful river valley home of many bird species. Kyambura Gorge is a natural home for habituated chimpanzees; this area not only supports mammals similar to the park but also three saline crater lakes, which attract large numbers of Flamingos.
Have lunch at the Park and an afternoon walk to a very big and thick Maramagambo forest, check out for the Rock Pythons, Visit the Bat Cave, likely to see many birds, butterflies, and all forest dwellers. Return to Jacana safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 - Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park


After breakfast, early morning game drive to the south of the park with picnic lunch through a game drives in the famous Ishasha sector; expect a rewarding experience as we are likely see tree-climbing lions! Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Park for the long waited trekking. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Bandas.

Day 9 - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Morning Breakfast and packed lunch, then Briefing at 08:00 hours before entrance to the Gorilla sanctuary. The gorilla excursion can take 4-8 hours expect to walk a long distance. For conservation purposes, time spent with the Gorillas is limited to one hour a ranger guide will brief you on how to behave with the Gorillas. Return for Evening, Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Bandas.

DAY 10 - Bwindi - Lake Bunyonyi Overland Camp

Morning Breakfast, then transfer to Bunyonyi overland campsite, as you travel through out, watch out the rolling hills of Uganda, 'termed as the little Switzerland of Uganda', expect to see a beautiful climate with nice vegetation and farms on hills! Arrive at the overland camp of Lake Bunyonyi 'termed as the lake of Birds' and also known as one of the deepest lakes in Africa! Bird around, on option you can have traditional dances by the local people or have evening walks.
Overnight and Dinner at the Overland Camp.

DAY 11 -Lake Bunyonyi - Mburo National Park


Have Breakfast, and a morning canoe at Lake Bunyonyi before proceeding for Lake Mburo National Park. Have lunch in Mbarara, transfer to Lake Mburo for the evening boat launch in Lake Mburo, in search for the African Fin foot one of the big five birds in Uganda. And other species like the Papyrus Gonolek, White winged warbler etc. Have Dinner and Overnight at Rwonyo Camp.

DAY 12 - Lake Mburo


Early morning game drive, lookout for Zebra's, Impalas, Uganda Kob, Elands, Waterbucks, Buffaloes, Oribi, Klip springer etc. Return to the camp for breakfast, packed lunch then proceed to Ssesse Islands. A very beautiful place, silent with a variety of natural landforms and species.
These islands are found on Lake Victoria the largest lake in Africa! Arrive at Nakiwogo landing site for the MV Kalangala to Ssesse Island at 14:00 hrs. Enjoy the navigation in a very comfortable atmosphere.
Dinner and overnight at Pearl Garden Beach.

DAY 13- Ssesse Islands

Have breakfast, Forest walk around Lutoboka Bay, discover the beauty of
The island by walking around the natural forest. You will be able to see many monkeys, birds, trees with unique roots and butterflies. The insect diversity is amazing.
There are no dangerous animals on this island; occasionally you might meet a snake. Return to the beach for lunch. In the afternoon we stroll down to the lake for a boat ride, enjoy the scenic view of different Islands not forgetting diversity of various bird species like; parrots weavers, whale headed stork, kingfishers, fish eagles, touracos.
Dinner and overnight at Pearl Gardens Beach.

DAY 14 - Ssesse Island – Kampala

Have early breakfast, leave at 8am by ferry boat. You reach Entebbe Pier after three hours and you will be transferred back to Kampala. Depending on the time of the flight, we can also visit the heritage sites in Kampala like the Museum, Shrines and Historical Churches.
You will be dropped and seen off at the Airport by our company representative.
